Production Team Lead Internal (AM)

Is responsbile for assisting the Production Supervisor in the overall operations of an assigned shift.  Must coordinate with Supervisor to plan and prioritize work to meet daily time-critical requirements.  Coordinate proper training of subordinates and assist in assiging work for an efficient and effective work flow.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

 

- Assist in planning, prioritizing, and manging daily departmental operations.

- Assist in the evaluation of potential applicants.

- Contribute to the review process in employee performance appraisals.

- As necessary, assist in corrective action and termination of employees with approriate approval.

- Maintain effective coomunication with all departments staff and Upper Management

- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

- Implement and support ISO 9000 specifications and requirements.

2. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

3. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure in order to make sound business decisions in a high-paced environment

4. Requires problem solving and listening skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions standarddization exists.

5. Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

6. Exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

 

SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

- Assist in the suprvision of assigned shift employees.

 

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

- Supervised by and accountable to Production Supervisor

 

ENTRY LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Two-year college degree plus 2 years production experience of High School Diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years production experience.
