Responsibilities

Objectives of this role

  • A key focus of this role will the the develop and qualification of devices and hardware in support of our business goals
  • Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs-buy perspective
  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
  • Manage product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met
  • Develop, implement, and maintain product roadamp
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of key processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototyping and final development by engineering teams
  • Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, functional requirements
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Idemia across primary market segments

Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications

  • Experience in a dynamic product management/ownership role
  • Specific experince in the product life cycles of internally and externally developed hardware solutions
  • Proven success in overseeing key elements of the product development lifecycle
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • US citizenship (dual citizenship not allowed)

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
  • Degree in product design or engineering are desirable
  • Product ownership/management experience the areas of B2B or B2G software products
