Responsibilities

IDEMIA Public Security North America is seeking a highly experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing initiatives and cultivate high-value partnerships. This role involves overseeing marketing campaigns, driving brand visibility, and identifying new business opportunities through strategic collaborations.  The ideal candidate has a strong executive presence, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a proven track record in partnership development in a highly competitive market.  

 

The Senior Marketing Manager has a unique and highly visible role to help generate revenue and make a meaningful impact to IDEMIA Public Security North America primarily by identifying and pursuing new potential channel partners to offer available IDEMIA services programs, products, and services. The key to your success is the ability to continuously line up and nurture possible partners, while effectively negotiating and closing new partnership business. These accounts are large, complex, and strategically critical to long-term business growth. The ideal candidate will also be the subject matter expert on our competitive partner landscape and how that informs our positioning and strategy.  

 

This position will work collaboratively with the greater travel and transport business line and program management, while functionally reporting to the marketing team to ensure IDEMIA’s value proposition is communicated clearly and consistently. Success in this role requires a growth mindset and passion for championing innovation. 

  • Marketing Strategy Development: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across multiple channels.
  • Partnerships & Collaborations: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that align with company goals. This includes partnerships with influencers, other brands, agencies, or industry leaders.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns. Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to ensure campaign objectives are met.
  • Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing initiatives. Enhance the company’s positioning in the marketplace through innovative storytelling and creative campaigns.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to refine marketing and partnership strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product, sales, and creative teams to ensure marketing and partnership strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maximizing ROI on marketing spend.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing initiatives and partnership outcomes. Adjust strategies as needed based on data insights.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing partners, addressing inquiries in a timely and effective manner. 
  • Provide regular activity reports for each prospect in the pipeline.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field with 8+ years of related experience or a combination of education and experience that would enable performance of the full scope of the position.
  • Proven work experience in developing and managing successful marketing campaigns and partnerships.
  • Strong negotiation skills with demonstrated ability in establishing partnerships. 
  • Effective organization and communication skills with strong ability to work cross-functionally (across operating functions and geographic locations) and with senior management.
  • Success in building deep, cross-functional relationships and driving alignment across teams. 
  • Proven track record of growing major accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to scope and manage multiple strategic projects to drive the business forward. 
  • Must possess a passion for problem-solving and attention to detail.  
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. 
  • Previous experience in B2G and/or B2C marketing.

 

Travel Requirement, Working Conditions, and Physical Demands

 

Travel requirement such as:

  • This position may be remote, but preference is given to people who can report to an IDEMIA office in Reston, VA.
  • Must be able to travel by air as needed to customer visits, attend training, conferences, and related activities.
  • Travel as required; should not exceed 50%.

 

Working conditions such as:

  • General office environment. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

 

Physical demands such as:

  • Office environment where the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. Some walking, standing, bending, reaching, and carrying light items such as papers, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment.
