Responsibilities

The Project Manager with our State and Local Government Project Management Team, you will work within an experienced engineering team that enables customer solutions by designing, implementing, and integrating IDEMIA's products to form solutions to meet customer needs. In this team, as the Project Manager, you will work with customers, engineers, and other staff to understand customer contractual requirements, facilitate, and support the design of the enterprise solutions, engage in, and monitor the technical development activities to deliver upon all contractual project deliverables. We are looking for candidates that love to solve problems directly with customers and within the IDEMIA team and also loves to participate in the technical implementation to deliver solutions.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Lead multiple project teams, managing day to day program development and execution in compliance with our standard processes 
  • Lead and manage process re-engineering efforts in collaboration with customers, ensuring the development of clear and unambiguous project requirements and effectively managing customer expectations
  • Ensure effective communications with our customers
  • Baseline new programs in accordance with the cost, schedule, and performance requirements, developing effective metrics 
  • Effectively manage multiple teammates and subcontractors, developing clear statements of work
  • Develop and review revenue forecasts and cost estimates
  • Manage scope change and facilitate value added improvements to projects 

Qualifications

  • Performs work with direct supervision
  • Handles basic issues and problems and escalates more complex ones to higher-level staff
  • Possesses working knowledge of subject matter
  • Good communication skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of project management experience in a similar industry
