Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of the relationship with suppliers in regards to quality.
  • Performs product, process and supplier audits and integrates new suppliers into programs.
  • Creates and distributes reports on supplier quality performance and corrective action status.
  • Works with suppliers on non-conformance reports and corrective requests, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
  • Engages with Manufacturing team to ensure appropriate Supplier controls and quality isnpection are in place, and appropriate on-site receiving inspection and auditing is in place.

Qualifications

  • Experience with all Quality Principles and processes.
  • Deep experience in PPAP/FAIR, APQP, QMS, PFMEA, DFMEA, SPC, control plans, RCCA, 5-why / 8D, etc.
  • Experience consolidated and presenting Quality performance.
  • Experience in Lean, process mapping, process improvement activities.
  • Experience with manufacturing environments, methods of manufacturing, engineering systems, etc. is required.
  • Requires BS in Engineering and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
