Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

Primary Area of Responsibility will be the Metal Clean Room encompassing loaded Frame and Prelam Dispensing, Vacuum, Pick & Place, Lamination 1 & 2, Collation 1 & 2, and Trimming processes.

 

Secondary Area of Responsibility will be Metal production outside of Metal Clean Room encompassing Mimaki, CNC, Stamping, EMV and Packing processes.

  • Ensure continuous flow of all materials to production and responds quickly to material requests. Monitor usages and stock levels and notify Gap Leader or Supervisor of any stock concerns. Maintain a positive work environment and a clean organized work area.
  • Ensure machines have next job ready with all material needed including the following: resin, slugs, antenna, frames, over-lays, over-lays with mag stripe, lamination plates, lamination pads, lamination plate assembly components (tape, banding spacers, templates, etc. with escalation alerting to Gap Leader or Supervisor for replenishment based on necessary lead time parameters.
  • Ensure MES / AIP material counts are opened, entered, and closed properly.
  • Maintain proper identification (part numbers and dates) of prelams.
  • Maintain and audit stock kanban levels including return of unused materials back to supermarket kitting area.
  • Maintain cycle count of raw materials daily / weekly / monthly as required.
  • Monitor and document functionality and efficiency of all equipment in the Metal clean room and related support area.
  • A daily Gemba evaluation of secondary area of responsibility processes in coordination with Gap Leader and Supervisor will alert Kitter to adjustments required in primary area.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Three to six months experience in a production environment is preferred, but not required.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  • Basic ability to understand time, temperature, & pressure of machine formulas / recipes.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
