Responsibilities

As a member of the Supply Chain Team, the Logistics Analyst will organize and oversee the shipment of products to domestic and international locations.  Administers the documentation processes required to import and export merchandise and materials in compliance with federal, state, local, or country-specific regulations. Collate figures and statistics, producing reports for company management. 

 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare various required international shipping documents such as declaration documentation in accordance with a foreign country’s import/export laws, packing lists and shipping invoices.
  • Produce reports for management(i.e. Customs reports, in transit reports, etc)
  • Regular contact with Freight Forwarders, track and trace all cargo in transit
  • Analyze and track performance of all freight forwarders and carriers
  • Analyze and provide the most cost effective modes of transport
  • Resolve any issues which would cause delays(customs holds, documentation, etc)
  • Work closely with US Customs to ensure proper classifications, licensing, valuation, and COO are being used for all imports
  • Arrange shipments(internationally and domestically)
  • Support Logistics Supervisor daily as required
  • Support NORAM logistics for all international shipments

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or 2 years experience in related field
  • Previous operations or supply chain experience
