Responsibilities

Overview: IDEMIA, the global leader in ID & Payment Card manufacturing located in Exton, PA, is looking to add a new Ink Technician to perform the matching, mixing, proofing, and QC of lithographic and screen ink to support our 2nd shift production operations in our Print/Graphics department

 

Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

 

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate ink color matches for litho and screen inks.

  • Mix lithographic UV inks

  • Mix UV, solvent and water based silk screen inks.

  • Maintain ink formulation database 

  • Prepare ink roll downs for customer and press.

  • Organize and maintain ink inventories for in house and external orders

  • Maintain screen ink log for EPA (VOCs).

  • Understand and apply PPE for chemicals and inks.

  • Order consumables for screen making and printing

Qualifications

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Must pass color eye test to assure candidate can properly see hues.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
