Responsibilities

Overview: IDEMIA, the global leader in ID & Payment Card manufacturing located in Exton, PA, is looking to add a new Inventory Control Clerk in our Graphics/Print Production area to primarily responsible for managing all aspects of ink inventory control. The role includes receiving inks from suppliers, maintaining accurate inventory levels, tracking usage and movement, and ensuring timely supply to internal stakeholders. Secondary responsibilities include supporting the ink lab, assisting with ink mixing, and participating in quality control processes. 

 

Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

 

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and inspect ink shipments from suppliers. 
  • Maintain accurate records of ink inventory, including stock levels, batch tracking, and expiration dates. 
  • Monitor and document all ink movements (incoming, outgoing, and internal transfers). 
  • Process ink requests from internal departments and ensure timely delivery to the shop floor. 
  • Place ink orders with suppliers based on usage trends and minimum stock levels. 
  • Coordinate recycling or proper disposal of expired or obsolete ink products. 
  • Support the ink lab technician with daily tasks and testing procedures. 
  • Occasionally mix ink batches as needed for production or testing. 
  • Assist in ink quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications. 
  • Follow and comply with all OSHA and company safety procedures. 
  • Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. 
  • Maintain proper handling and storage of hazardous materials. 
  • Participate in monthly physical inventory counts and audits. 
  • Other roles and responsibilities may apply as assigned 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED. 
  • 2–3 years of experience in inventory control or a related field. 
  • Valid driver’s license. 
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. 
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. 
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). 
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
