IDEMIA Road Safety is a leader of road safety enforcement market, a company of IDEMIA Public Security division of IDEMIA Group. We are a premium provider of innovative solutions and have decades of experience in the field of image acquisition and processing, video analytics, software applications, roadside hardware products and solutions for the safety enforcement with a wide-ranging portfolio of solutions and services. As the world leader in road safety enforcement, IDEMIA has all in-house capacities to design, produce and support edge devices and associated embedded advanced image processing analytics. We are supporting governments in keeping their citizens safe, including advanced roadside speed and red-light enforcement systems, mobile, or fix devices connected to large processing backend systems. As we expand into the US market, we are seeking a motivated and independent Technical Project Manager to support our deployment and customer operations in the United States, with a focus in the New York area.

 

Position Overview

We are looking for a U.S. native with a strong background in software development (as C++ and Python) and 3+ years of experience in technical roles. The ideal candidate is based in New York and capable of working with high autonomy. This role involves technical support, diagnostics, project coordination, and managing relationships with local clients and suppliers.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main technical point of contact in the U.S.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for roadside speed and red-light radar enforcement installations.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues. And interface with our R&D located mainly in France
  • Manage client, partners and suppliers relationships in the U.S.
  • Coordinate with the French technical and operation teams.
  • Report on project status, technical issues, and operational performance.
  • Participate in the deployment, testing, and integration of our solutions.
  • Attend a one-month training program in France upon hiring and attend 2-3 workshops in France per year

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Fluent in English.
  • Based in the States, with the ability to travel locally for support.
  • 3+ years of experience in software development and technical project roles.
  • Strong skills in C++ and Python.
  • Experience with embedded systems, video and image processing, or hardware/software integration is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.

 

Preferred

  • Experience in the road safety, video protection or public safety industry.
  • Familiarity with field deployment environments and logistics.
