Release Engineer IV

· Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for microservices integration and delivery

· Optimize DevOps processes to improve deployment efficiency and reliability

· Develop and maintain automation scripts for build, test, and deployment processes

· Lead integration efforts between various product components and services

· Serve in a leadership capacity to promote DevOps best practices while mentoring other engineers

· Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enable team productivity and velocity

· Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and GitLab pipelines

· Orchestrate and optimize container deployments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

· Work alongside other engineers to effectively strategize and implement capabilities that will improve our overall automation posture across the organization

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members

· Collaborate with global and overseas counterparts to integrate product development and automation code

· Work closely with the Cloud Platform Engineering Team to provision/deploy and maintain the underlying infrastructure

· Implement and maintain logging and monitoring solutions through an ELK-like stack (FluentD, Opensearch, Kibana)

· Manage and automate the state of our PKI and handling of secrets in a highly sensitive environment

· Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to validate environment and service integrity

· Drive continuous improvement initiatives for deployment processes and infrastructure management

· Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration and deployment issues

· Experience working with generative AI

· At least 8-10 years of experience in DevOps, Integration Engineering, or similar roles

· Strong experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (GitLab CI, Jenkins, TeamCity)

· Advanced knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm)

· Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)

· Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell)

· Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and its managed services

· Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana)

· Strong understanding of security practices and implementation in DevOps workflows

· Experience with microservices architecture and integration patterns

· Knowledge of Java/J2EE environments and Spring ecosystem

· Experience with database administration (both SQL and NoSQL)

· Experience with PKI, certificate management, and secrets handling

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

· Experience working in multi-tenant, distributed architectures

· Experience with access protocols (LDAP, OIDC, Cognito, Keycloak)
