Environment

Smart Biometrics is the Business Line from IDEMIA Public Security delivering solutions to the Enterprise market. Our core range is based on biometric identity management, with significant activity for biometric devices. We operate worldwide with regional sales teams and development centers in 3 time zones. To accompany our growth, we have been reinforcing our offer for Solutions and Services.

 

About the Role

We are seeking a Solutions Product Manager for our biometric-based identity management solutions. For your portfolio of software products, you will:

  • Understand the ecosystem, drive the go to market, identify and on-board the partners
  • take market research initiatives aimed at understanding customer needs, defining compelling value propositions, and analyzing competitive landscapes; 
  • contribute to shaping the vision,
  • define product roadmap, gather and prioritize requirements, deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth;
  • Lead the development and lifecycle;
  • work closely with internal teams for product management, engineering and marketing
  • accompany sales, pre-sales and support teams in customer interactions.
  • Focus on US market: map the ecosystem, identify the local constraints/ regulations, identify the main players, qualify partners

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
  • Define go-to-market and partnerships
  • Define and communicate a clear product vision
  • Build a roadmap aligned with Business Line goals

Product Development

  • Act as the voice of the customer
  • Translate business needs into detailed product requirements
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver high-quality software on time
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes

Go-to-Market

  • Partner with marketing and sales to develop go-to-market strategies and product positioning.
  • Deliver sales tools
  • Assist customer facing teams: sales, support and integration
  • Monitor customer feedback for future iterations
  • Specific focus on US market, understand the local ecosystem

Finance monitoring

  • Investment budgets
  • Sales performance
  • Product investments profitability

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Business
  • 12-15 years of experience in digital product management
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Market focus: customer relationship (need collection and solution promotion)

Preferred Skills

  • Familiar with both on-premise software and SaaS environment
  • Knowledge about the Identity Management space
  • Experience with B2B
  • Building partnerships
  • Software and System architectures
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, and mobile app  products
  • Comfort in international, matrix organization
