Responsibilities

The Director of Talent Management designs, delivers, and evaluates the organization’s talent management strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives. This position requires a strategic thinker with proven experience in building and executing successful talent programs encompassing organizational development, continuous learning and development, and succession planning. Reporting to the VP of Human Resources and collaborating with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Centers of Excellence (COEs), senior leaders, and managers, the role necessitates an innovative approach and proficient data utilization to drive decisions and influence stakeholders at all levels.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop an integrated talent management strategy including succession planning, learning and development curriculum, leadership model, and career development.
  • Organizational development: Create organizational development framework, tools, and metrics.
  • Learning and development: Establish learning roadmaps and training and development strategies that enhance organizational performance.
  • Talent retention: Lead various strategic talent management efforts for talent movement and development.
  • Succession planning: Develop and manage succession planning initiatives to ensure leadership continuity and build leader bench strength. Partner with and coach leadership to identify top talent within the organization and differentiate their development, creating a deep pipeline of talent.
  • Strategic workforce planning: Identify skill gaps from workforce planning and drive initiatives to close gaps.
  • Assess talent management practices including monitoring progress, tracking performance, and analyzing impact and opportunities.
  • Drive better process and talent outcomes year over year.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of talent management experience.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, organizational development, or equivalent experience.
  • Strategic vision and strong ability to develop long-term talent strategies.
  • Hands on capability to implement tactics consistently.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, interfacing in a manner that promotes a positive and cooperative approach.
  • Solid understanding of talent management best practices and current trends.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrated results managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with various HR and/or talent management technologies and systems.
