Responsibilities

As a digital identity specialist within IDEMIA’s presales team, you will join an existing team of subject matter experts who collectively cover identity, connectivity, and trust. The specialist nature of this role mandates that the successful applicant must have a very strong background within digital identity, covering technologies such as digital onboarding, eKYC, document authentication, biometric enrollment, verification, and identification.

 

The role requires a person with up-to-date knowledge of the North American identity ecosystem, the candidate must have a strong understanding of the regional market trends, standards, and competitors that shape the digital identity landscape. You will use your detailed knowledge of digital identity, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit, commercial awareness, and technical acumen to manage revenue generating offers that align with commercial priorities, targeting projects that help IDEMIA win the right kind of business.

 

You will cultivate strong relationships with various stakeholders in the business, working in close collaboration with colleagues from diverse teams such as commercial, marketing, product, delivery, legal, etc. The successful candidate will establish strong relationships with sales counterparts, sharing responsibility for the accuracy of the regional identity pipeline, go-to-market strategy, and governance process.

 

The role has direct responsibility for the creation and validation of formal offers to customers within the public sector, finance, retail, payment, telecommunications, and gaming sectors. The successful candidate will review, validate, and respond to tenders, engaging with various stakeholders to ensure that the offer is well designed, architected, costed, that the P&L is profitable, and that the bid is managed via IDEMIA’s governance process.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000 - $170,000/yr + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following mandatory requirements to be considered for this position:

  • A strong background within digital identity within the North American market, covering technologies such as eKYC, document authentication, biometric enrollment, verification, and identification, combined with in-depth knowledge of the trends, technologies, solutions, and competitive landscape that shape the market.
  • A long-term history of presales excellence within the public or private sector, with a track record of defining the winning strategy and creating successful bids for RFI/RFP and informal tenders, alongside a background of managing multiple projects simultaneously with rapidly evolving deadlines.
  • Proven capability to bring multiple stakeholders from disparate organisations together to drive towards a common objective. Someone who is an exceptional team player, able to lead through example.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit well suited to a start-up mentality, someone with high levels of autonomy, proactivity, creativity, responsibility, and strategic rigor, who is able to think and act quickly.
  • A background of roles that demonstrate technical acumen and commercial awareness. The position requires someone who is as comfortable white-boarding a complex architecture as they are managing a P&L budget.
  • A strategic thinker, capable of predicting how competitors will position, and able to define the winning themes and strategy to best position IDEMIA’s offer.
