Responsibilities

The Human Resources Internship is one discipline of IDEMIA North America’s 12-week Summer Internship Program. The intern will be an integral member of the HR team and will provide administrative support to staff. In this role, interns will have the opportunity to learn and assist in corporate human resources operations, including but not limited to record keeping, employee relations, and employee communications.

 

A successful candidate will have exceptional time management, organizational, communication skills, and the ability to identify employee related issues and assist in their resolution. They will be looking to gain Project Management experience. 

 

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): 

  • Provide support for general or department-specific administration of human resources processes and efforts
  • Embrace company culture, values, and provide support to Business Unit (BU) Human Resources (HR) department team
  • Assist with staff with training and development initiatives
  • Prepare reports and monitor data
  • Compile and update employee records
  • Process documentation and prepare reports for personnel activities

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • You are a college junior, senior, or recent graduate majoring in Human Resources Administration, or a related field
  • Must be authorized to work in the US
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Basic knowledge of labor laws
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communications skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as an HR assistant, staff assistant, or other relevant human resources/administrative role or internship
  • Passion for innovative technologies and security/identity related issues

Note: This is a hybrid role, you must be able to travel to the office.

 

The US hourly rate for this position is $20.
