Responsibilities

Process improvement: 
Analyze existing procedures and suggest or implement improvements to increase efficiency. 
Data analysis and reporting: 
Collect and analyze operational data, such as inventory levels or customer satisfaction, and create reports to inform decision-making. 
Project coordination: 
Assist project managers by tracking timelines, deliverables, and helping to coordinate tasks and meetings. 
Research: 
Conduct market research, analyze competitors, and prepare detailed reports on logistics, products, and production lines. 
Cross-functional collaboration: 
Work with various departments, including operations, strategy, product, and sales, to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. 
Administrative and logistical support: 
Help with daily administrative tasks, manage inventory, plan production schedules, and assist with transportation

Qualifications

Academic and experience requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree: Currently enrolled in or having a bachelor's degree in business, operations management, supply chain management, engineering, economics, or a related field.
  • Coursework: Entry-level coursework in a business-related field is often sufficient.
  • Experience: Prior internship or relevant experience can be helpful, though not always mandatory. 
 
Technical and software skills:
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency is a common requirement, especially in programs like Excel and Outlook.
  • Data analysis tools: Familiarity with data analysis platforms, project management software, or systems like Asana, SharePoint, or Salesforce is a plus.
  • General tech skills: Ability to learn and navigate new systems is important. 
 
Soft skills:
  • Analytical and problem-solving: Strong ability to analyze data, solve problems, and think critically.
  • Organizational and time management: Excellent skills in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal skills and the ability to present information clearly.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with others and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Adaptability and flexibility: A proactive approach, willingness to learn, and the ability to handle changes and work in an agile manner.
  • Attention to detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure accuracy in tasks.

Note: This is a hybrid role, you must be able to travel to the office.

 

The US hourly rate for this position is $25.
