Responsibilities

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic IDEMIA livescan/workstation application.
  • Provide software and hardware support on MBIS product line.
  • Provide software support on facial recognition systems.
  • Be able to participate with on-call rotation/standby
  • Familiar with VPN, and remote support.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow through with tasks and projects.
  • Ability to manage work-related expenses, submitting applicable documentation in accordance with company policy.
  • Willing to work on company products at customer locations (Law enforcement agencies, jail, or intake facilities).

Qualifications

  • Excellent customer relationship and support experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces (CLI).
  • Solid hands-on experience with hardware, including servers, PCs/laptops, and printers.
  • Good understanding of data communications and networking concepts.
  • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies.
  • Experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
  • Foundational experience with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 and Active Directory.
  • Basic understanding of relational databases.
  • Entry-level experience with storage systems and RAID technologies.
  • Familiarity with backup, recovery, and imaging applications.
  • Understanding of IT security practices, including patch management and antivirus solutions.
  • Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to pass a security background check and/or clearance required by law enforcement customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
