Responsibilities

  • Assist in tracking and monitoring budgets, ensuring expenditures align with approved funding allocations and organizational priorities.
  • Support the Government Relations team in managing financial reporting related to community investment initiatives, sponsorships, and public policy engagement activities.
  • Maintain and update budget trackers and financial dashboards to monitor CSR program spending and remaining balances.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect and validate expense documentation for CSR initiatives, grants, and community partnerships.
  • Assist with preparing financial summaries and presentations for leadership outlining CSR investment distribution and program impact.
  • Conduct basic financial analysis to identify spending trends and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
  • Support the reconciliation of CSR-related invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in coordination with the Finance team.
  • Help evaluate funding requests from community partners or nonprofit organizations, ensuring alignment with budget guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development of process improvements and documentation to streamline financial tracking and reporting.
  • Assist with cross-functional coordination between Finance, Government Relations, and Corporate Responsibility teams to ensure transparency in spending.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and financial reasoning skills, with the ability to interpret budget data and spending trends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial trackers.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy when working with financial data and documentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Prior experience with budget tracking or financial reporting is a plus but not required.
